Sitting Pretty in Cape Town

After three weeks of camping, Cape Town was a wonderful reintroduction to civilization. It does, after all, have what Jordan calls the three Cs of a proper city: coffee, craft beer and CrossFit.

The thing that makes Cape Town exceptional, though, isn’t so much the city as its gorgeous natural surroundings. Backing up to Table Mountain, fringed by beautiful beaches (some with resident penguins), a stone’s throw from rolling vineyards and charming coastal towns, and up the coast from the stunning Cape of Good Hope, Cape Town is sitting pretty.
